tangled up in color
These two paintings are the remaining pieces in what was originally a tryptich but can live on as inidividuals or a pair! Meant to be displayed with blue on the left, it feels like two separate moods thanks to the contrast in colors. Tying them together is the tone-on-tone swirl that spreads across all pieces.

pool reflection
Pool Reflection is the first in an ongoing series of studies on reflection. I created a matting-like effect with an additional frame of watercolor paper to add a physical barrier similar to that of the tile edge of a pool as you look down into it.
Pool Reflection acrylic on watercolor paper within a cutom painted frame. This piece is approximately 18"x24" including the frame.

Blue Tone Line Portrait
This is part of a mini series I put together to challenge myself to work fast and loose with no sketching. Linework can get funky without preparation because any small imperfection is glaring. But hey, isn't that what making things with my hands is all about, showing the imperfections and embracing them?
Blue Tone Line Portraits is acrylic on watercolor paper and measures 5"x7". This piece ships free without tracking,
